Report: Rob Van Dam Returning To WWE Soon

PWInsider.com is reporting Rob Van Dam is expexted to return for WrestleMania XXX season at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view later this month. RVD is making an appearance for Booker T's Reality of Wrestling promotion in Houston, Texas on January 11th at the Clear lake Sports and Recreation Center which is believed to be a warm-up for his WWE return although it remains unknown if he will wrestle on this night.

WWE had hoped to sign RVD through until April's Extreme Rules pay-per-view, but that was longer than the 90 day window he originally agreed to work.
