It's being reported that TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett does not have a 90-day no-compete clause with TNA Impact Wrestling and the former "King of the Mountain" will be able to do whatever he wants in professional wrestling as of January 6th.
Regarding his ownership of the company, Jarrett is still said to be the largest investor behind the Carter Family and their Panda Energy company. It's still unclear if this might end on January 6th as well or if Jarrett will still have his share in the company. However, as previously reported, TNA did say that Jarrett would continue to be an investor in the company when they released their official statement about his departure.
The chatter going around backstage in TNA is that both Jarrett and Dixie Carter might be trying to pull something of a power play on each other. Some feel that Jarrett resigning could be an attempt to get Dixie's attention and get her to listen to what he has to say, while others feel that Dixie might actually be relieved that Jarrett's leaving because the two have reportedly had their differences over the past number of years.
