It's being reported that the biggest reason why C.M. Punk got the win over The Shield at TLC was because they wanted a major babyface to get a win since both John Cena and Daniel Bryan lost. But it was also done to further lead to the eventual break-up of The Shield.

Also, regarding the break-up of The Shield, look for Roman Reigns to really be the one who gets a strong push. WWE officials reportedly have very high hopes for him.
