Chris Jericho has spoken to Zap2It.com in regards to his future plans which include launching a new podcast hosted by the same network as Steve Austin.
On the new podcast: "There's a lot of stuff going on in my world. I just signed on to do a podcast with Podcast One. They do Steve Austin's, Adam Carolla's, Seth Rogen's. There's always things like that popping up and I think a lot of the time wrestling fans want you to be tied to wrestling for the rest of your life and unfortunately it doesn't really work that way. For me, I've never though of myself as just a wrestler, but as an entertainer. Anything that falls under the umbrella, I'm going to do it. So it's just going to be me. I'll get a guest on whenever I feel like it and just talk about whatever's going on. It'll be fun for me to do because it's something I've always wanted to do and now I have the avenue for it."
Returning At The Royal Rumble?: "That's the thing. "Again." We've been there and done that. Plus people seem to put too much stock in the Fozzy dates. It doesn't really work like that, for me. We're in the studio in January to work on a new record."
Another Season Of "But I'm Chris Jericho?": Obviously, say the word and I'm there. I think a lot of it now is to see how it does and what the reaction is. As far as I know, we've created something very unique and funny. This alternate Jericho universe has a lot of characters in it and there are so many places we can go with it. If the response continues to be as good as it has, I see no reason why we wouldn't be asked to do more.
