WWE is reportedly once again considering holding a future SummerSlam event in London, England. During the recent European tour talks started again with business connections in the United Kingdom.
It is unknown at this stage how serious talks are and it should be noted talks regarding a big pay-per-view event in England have been the subject of much consideration for many years and has likely never happened due to the logistics and fear that the time zone difference would damage the overall buyrate.
WWE held SummerSlam in London back in 1992 from Wembley Stadium, which took a knock in domestic buys back home but drew a huge attendance of 80,355 people, this is the third largest in the company's history, behind only WrestleMania 29 and WrestleMania III, some even argue it is the biggest because WMIII was closer to 70,000 and not the widely reported 93,173 fans. The new Wembley Stadium can hold up to 90,000.
