Today marks the eight-year anniversary of the passing of one of professional wrestling's true greats, 2006 WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero. To try to summarize Eddie's life and career in a brief description would be impossible. All the places he traveled, all of his accomplishments inside the squared circle, all of the obstacles he was able to overcome. Eddie Guerrero was a true inspiration to millions of people around the world.
Eddie was an inspiration to everybody who was ever told that they were "too small" to accomplish something. Eddie, being a Hispanic American, was an inspiration to the Latino community as well as other minorities. Eddie was an inspiration to everybody who's had to battle drug addiction, depression, and other personal demons. Simply put: Eddie Guerrero was a role model that people could relate to and look up to.
His life may have been cut short in November of 2005, but his legacy will never die. Eddie's friends and family remember him as being a truly exceptional human being, and his fans remember him as being one of the greatest and most accomplished performers in wrestling history.
