The word going around in TNA Impact Wrestling right now is that they will NOT be going out of business for at least one reason: Spike TV. TNA is one of Spike's highest-rated shows and it's been reported in the past that Spike wants to have a professional wrestling program on their network.
Regarding the Carter Family, there is indeed some talk that they might end up selling TNA, possibly some time in 2014. There is currently no word on who the new owners might be or if there are even any potential buyers at this time.
There are several issues being discussed backstage about how this might affect the company. If the Carters do indeed sell it, what would the new owners do? Would they try to revitalize the company? How would they do the scheduling for live events, TV tapings, and PPV's? Who would they cut from the roster?
As of right now nothing is anywhere near concrete, but there is definitely a lot of talk going on backstage about TNA's future heading into 2014.
