On Monday night's edition of WWE RAW, Triple H "fired" WWE senior official Scott Armstrong for his role in the main event at the Night of Champions pay-per-view event which saw him execute a fast count in favor of Daniel Bryan over Randy Orton, which made Bryan the new WWE Champion before he was stripped of the title.
PWInsider.com reports that this move is purely storyline-related, as Armstrong hinted that he acted in collusion with Bryan so that Bryan could become champion, which Bryan denied.
