Hulk Hogan's agent, Peter Young, told ProWrestling.NET that Hulk Hogan's upcoming appearance in the new WWE 2K14 video was not a deal they signed off on but rather the use of a previous deal Hogan signed with THQ in 2008 for an appearance in a WWE video game.

2K14 had the option to review Hogan's old deal, which they did when they did when they acquired it as part of their purchase of the WWE video game license when THQ filed for bankruptcy.
