Don "The Lawman" Slatton, a star in the West Texas wrestling circuit from the 1960's to 1980's, has passed away at the age of 77.
Slatton was a promoter and a top star in the Abilene area and did have some matches against well-known wrestling stars such as Harley Race, Bruiser Brody, Dick Murdoch, Ray Stevens, and Terry & Dory Funk Jr.
Slatton got his nickname "Lawman" because he was also a well-known law enforcement officer.
