John Cena Misses WWE Live Event Due To Injury

WWE Champion John Cena was pulled from Friday night's WWE live event in Portland, Oregon due to injury according to those in attendance. Brad Maddox opened the show and announced that due to injury, Cena would not be working.

We reported a few days ago that Cena’s left elbow had become a concern and he is scheduled to undergo surgery on the elbow next week following Sunday’s WWE title match at SummerSlam.

WWE is keen not to risk further damage going into Sunday's title match.
