We kick iMPACT off with the Main Event Mafia making their way out to the ring and Sting says last week the Mafia experienced an incredible night because Chris Sabin beat Bully Ray for the World Title and this war they have going on with Aces ‘n’ Eights, round 1 goes to the Mafia and the pain Aces ‘n’ Eights have dealt will come back to them sevenfold. But tonight, they’re not out here for a fight. They’re out here for a celebration and they introduce the new World Heavyweight Champion Chris Sabin. Bully Ray comes out and says he has been wronged and suffered a major injustice. He is highly offended that everyone is praising Chris Sabin for what he did. Sabin hit him in the head with a hammer and asks what kind of man, athlete or wrestler would sink so low to hit somebody in the head with an object and he says Sabin has no choice. He will sue Sabin and everyone in the company. Bully then calls Sabin out and tells him to do the right thing and hand the title over to him. Bully says obviously Sabin is out to do the right thing and is intimidated. Sabin says he’s out here to see for himself what a crybaby he’s become. For 2 years he was at home injured but didn’t whine about it. It just motivated him and now he’s the World Champion and the only way Bully is going to get the belt back is by prying it from his cold dead hands. Bully says no he’s going get it back by suing Sabin. And if Sabin doesn’t do the right thing he’s calling Hogan out. Hogan comes out and says he has a counter offer for Bully and tears up the contract because he’s the GM and the law around here and Chris Sabin IS the World Champion. Fair is fair and Bully does have his rematch clause. Bully will get his rematch on August 15 and there will be justice. Hardcore Justice. No Mafia and no Aces ‘n’ Eights. The law will make sure there is justice because the World Championship will be defended inside a steel cage.
