WKRC-TV, the CBS affiliate out of Cincinnati, Ohio, is reporting that ex-independent wrestler Andre Heart (real name Andre Davis) has been sentenced to 32 years in prison for having sexual intercourse with more than a dozen women and not disclosing to them that he is HIV positive, which constitutes felonious assault.
He was convicted of 14 counts of felonious assault back in November 2011 and had originally faced up to 120 years in prison. The case originally came to be after the mother of Davis's two children found HIV test paperwork that stated he had the virus, which she in turn showed to his other girlfriends.
Prosecutors state that Davis knew he was infected with HIV but intentionally had sexual intercourse with more than a dozen women anyway without informing them that he was infected. Davis's attorneys, on the other hand, continue to insist that Davis did not know he was HIV positive and that the test indicating he was infected with the virus is wrong.
Furthermore, Davis also currently faces similar charges in Warren County, Ohio and Butler County, Ohio.
