Backstage Christy gets a word with Tommy Dreamer who says that he\'s not a mole and there isn\'t one. Bischoff\'s playing his games and Tommy\'s just hoping to knock some sense into RVD tonight.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Rob Van Dam

Old school, no rules EV2.0 contest

In the early going we can tell that these two are friends. They have an issue of mis-trust right now but as Tazz says, it\'s evident that these guys don\'t really wanna fight. RVD is paranoid though, but who can you trust in the wrestling world. The match often goes to the outside and at one point RVD has Dreamer over the railing and he leaps off the ring apron to spin mid-air and land his leg on the back of Dreamer. Back in the ring Dreamer sets Van Dam up in a tree of woe in attempts for a dropkick on a chair into Van Dam\'s face, but Van Dam gets out of it beofre Dreamer can get going. The contest goes real old school as Dreamer brings out a ladder and another steel chair as the match heats up. Natural competitors just go at it for the victory as Tommy Dreamer avoids a baseball slide and crack RVD in the mush with the side of the ladder. Back in the ring Dreamer dominates RVD and performs a running bulldog on the ladder before missing with an elbow from the middle rope. Van Dam has Dreamer set-up and goes for his signature, thr Rolling Thunder, but Dreamer moves and Van Dam lands awkwardly. The contest goes back and forth and Dreamer soon administers a frog splash of his own to RVD. Goodness, RVD goes on to administer a northern lights suplex and Dreamer kicks out, but when we zoom in we see the bone pop through the skin of Dreamer\'s wrist as it seems that Dreamer\'s broken his wrist. Van Dam hesitantly goes for a cover but Dreamer kicks out after One. The match goes on with Dreamer\'s wrist looking perfect for a Halloween aftermath. He goes on admirably and after RVD misses a Five St*r, Dreamer takes control to put on an excellent spike-piledriver. Van Dam\'s arm is under the rope so Dreamer goes on to innovate some more violence and he takes Van Dam into the corner, sets up the ladder accross the middle ropes in front of Van Dam and he then goes for a super-duperplex off the ladder, but he\'s off balance and ouch! Dreamer lands harsh on the rung of the ladder and this match gets even more chaotic as RVD performs a dropkick with the chair into a fallen Dreamer. He follows with a Five St*r but again misses. Dreamer takes hold of the match, but his wrist fails him when he attempts a Dreamer Driver and in the end RVD wins with a third and final attempt - and connection at a Five St*r Frog Splash.

Winner: RVD!

After the match there is little celebration as he and Dreamer talk and over the camera microphones we hear Van Dam appologize to Tommy. The two embrace. Great to see after a show-stealling match.
