Tony Khan Talks Shane McMahon In AEW

Never say never in professional wrestling, the approach AEW President Tony Khan is taking with regards to Shane McMahon calling him up to work with All Elite Wrestling.

During a recent interview with SI.com, AEW President Tony Khan was asked if he would be interested in working with Shane McMahon, who was "let go" from WWE following his attitude backstage at the 2022 Royal Rumble event.

Here is what Tony Khan said:

"Iā€™d certainly take the call. Iā€™m sure heā€™d be an interesting person to talk to about wrestling. Iā€™m not sure exactly if he would be a fit. I have not heard from him, and I donā€™t expect to hear from him, but in this business, you never know."

Khan also commented on Jay Whiteā€™s debut on Dynamite this past Wednesday:

ā€œExpect to see more Jay White in AEW. He came through the ā€˜Forbidden Doorā€™, and there were many reasons his arrival transpired the way it did on Dynamite. That wasnā€™t finalized until Sunday, and Iā€™m so happy that we could bring that excitement to the fans.ā€

Khan also talked about Keith Leeā€™s debutā€¦

ā€œKeithā€™s debut was incredible,ā€ Khan says. ā€œMuch to my amazement, Keith got released. As soon as I saw that he was released, this was the moment I dreamed about. It was crazy timing. Iā€™m so happy with how the debut has been received. Itā€™s very well deserved, and I am very excited to have Keith in AEW.ā€
