The WWE may once again open a pay per view with the Universal Championship on the line, according to a post by WrestleVotes.
According to the rumor, the plan is for the winner of the Rollins-Corbin match to immediately face Mr. Money in the Bank Brock Lesnar afterwards, though the Beast will lose via disqualification.
I’m assuming Brock cashes in after the conclusion of the Corbin matchup. This whole idea seems stupid, but I’ve been told it is the plan. LOL.— WrestleVotes (@WrestleVotes) June 7, 2019
This would be the third consecutive men's MITB cash-in failure, after Braun Strowman failed in 2018 (thanks to Lesnar), and Corbin failed in 2017, thanks to interference by John Cena.
