At tonight’s WWE WrestleMania 35 event, Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar to become the brand new Universal Champion.
Prior to the match, Paul Heyman stormed to the ring and expressed disgust at Lesnar not being in the main event of the show and instead demanded that he defend the Universal Championship immediately so that the duo could then go to Las Vegas, Nevada.
As Rollins made his way to the ring, Lesnar exited the ring and attacked him, eventually causing welts to develop on his back. The referee would then call for the match to officially begin, with Rollins inadvertently sending Lesnar causing the referee to fall out of the ring later in the match. The incident led Rollins to hit Lesnar with a low blow, followed by three Stomps, which led to Rollins getting the pinfall victory.
