Booker T Suing Video Game Publisher For Use Of G.I. Bro Character

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T is suing video game publisher Activision for plagiarism, after a character bore a striking resemblance to the former World Champion.

Booker, who filed the lawsuit in his native Texas, is claiming that the character David 'Prophet' Wilkes, in the game Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, has been deliberately modelled on Booker's WCW character G.I. Bro.

As G.I. Bro, Booker worked with the Misfits in Action, and later created two comic books based on the character.

"They could have drawn him any way they wanted. But they chose to steal Booker T.’s “G. I. Bro.” the suit claims.
