WWE will be hosting next year's Survivor Series in Chicago area, according to a Chicago Tribune. The plan is to have the event at the Allstate Arena, which is in neighboring Rosemont. The planned date for the show will be on November 24.
WWE has not held a Survivor Series in Chicago since 1989.
"WWE is so proud of our relationship with our fans in Chicago,” said John Saboor, the WWE Executive Vice President of Special Events, “Allstate Arena, going back to when it was known as Rosemont Horizon, has been such an important partner of WWE, dating back to the ’80s."
"Chicago consistently has an electric atmosphere and audience. It's really something,” he said. “Our superstars, with great frequency, mention that Allstate is one of their very favorite venues in the country to compete."
