Match Changed For Tonight’s Edition Of WWE Monday Night Raw

On tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, a non-title match between Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Natalya had been scheduled to take place.

However, that match was changed to Bliss vs. Ember Moon, as Natalya did not appear on tonight’s broadcast due to the death of her father, former WWE Tag Team Champion Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart.

Moon won the match via disqualification following interference from Alicia Fox.

Moon was introduced as Bliss’s opponent by Ronda Rousey, who will face Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship at this coming Sunday night’s SummerSlam event. Prior to the match, Rousey took a few minutes to pay tribute to Neidhart and offer support to Natalya, telling her that she was loved by everyone.

As previously reported, Neidhart passed away this morning following a fall at his home that resulted in him suffering a seizure after hitting his head. Neidhart was 63 years old.
