Volkoff, whose real name was Josip Nikolai Peruzovic, was born in 1947 in Croatia and experienced his most success in WWE, where he teamed with fellow WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheik from 1985 until 1987. Together, the duo won the WWE Tag Team Championship. Volkoff also famously teamed with Boris Zhukov to form The Bolsheviks.
