Vince McMahon's Reaction To AJ Lee Calling Out Stephanie McMahon On Her Hypocrisy

A Reddit user named finerd pulled an interesting tidbit from a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio today in which host Dave Meltzer discussed what Vince McMahon told his Daughter Stephanie McMahon after AJ Lee called her out on her hypocrisy on Twitter over women wrestler wages.

Here is what Metlzer said:

"Basically, Steph was told by Vince that there's to be no lashing out at her or punishing her on television because 'WWE would look like the bad guys' and that 'it was a losing battle.' Soon after the #GiveDivasAChance trend started. Shows that Vince has his finger on the pulse. Interesting tidbit."

Below is what AJ Lee tweeted Stephanie back in 2015 and Stephanie's response:
