WWE officials have had some discussion about making NXT a live show on the WWE Network starting next year, according to a report on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio.

While this move to live broadcasting would be in line with their flagship shows Raw and SmackDown, it would pose "major logistical issues" and the fact a live taping would increase the production budget opposed to the taping schedule it operates on now.

WWE would also have to bring in talent each week for a one hour show. 

It's believed that if the show went live or not the overall Network subscriber count would not be affected and thus nothing serious is being considered right now other than talks.
