Gawker to Pay Hulk Hogan $31 Million in Settlement

According to CNN, Gawker Media reached a $31 million settlement with Hulk Hogan after a 4 year legal battle, stemming from a leaked sex tape released by the former online news website.

Gawker declared bankruptcy earlier in 2016, after a jury awarded Hulk Hogan $140 million over the leaked sex tape.

Hogan was let go from WWE in 2015.
