WWE Responds To Comments From Paige's Family Regarding Her Recent Suspension

As previously reported, the family of former WWE Divas Champion Paige has suggested via social media that the reason for her second Wellness Policy violation suspension was due to her currently taking prescription painkillers as a result of her ongoing injury that she is recovering from.

However, WWE has issued the following statement to the New York Post in response to those comments:

"Saraya-Jade Bevis tested positive for an illegal substance, not a prescription drug. In addition, WWE is providing world-class medical care for her in-ring injury."
