Dave Batista's Nixed WWE WrestleMania 32 Role Revealed

Dave Batista was long rumored to be a special guest referee in the main event of WrestleMania 32, although according to Pro Wrestling Scoops that was never the case.

Batista reportedly met with Vince McMahon at the Royal Rumble event back in January to discuss his possible involvement in the show. McMahon wanted Batista to feature in the segment with Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley and Steve Austin confronting The League of Nations and Xavier Woods.

Batista has however been busy filming for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” and was recently announced as one of the cast members in the upcoming “Blade Runner” sequel.
