WWE World Heavyweight Championship To Be Defended In 2016 Royal Rumble Match

Vince McMahon announced on Monday night's edition of WWE Raw that Roman Reigns will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming Royal Rumble event, but that the title will be defended in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match itself.

The last time the title was defended in this manner was in 1992, when two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair won the title in the same match. The title was vacant at the time.
