Raw Intro

 

Welcome to Monday Night Raw and this week Raw is coming to us from Buffalo, New York and we kick things off with the US Champion John Cena making his way out to the ring for his U.S. Open Challenge

Cena takes the mic and says. Cena calls the title a symbol of excellence and opportunity and will be defended tonight. Right now.  The trombone begins playing Cena's entrance theme which brings out The New Day

New Day cut a promo on this Saturday's MSG special and how they plan to hold the tag team championships and the US Championship. They then huddle to decide who will be competing after Cena tells them to start taking this seriously or he'll beat all three of them. It is then decided it will be Xavier Woods who will challenge Cena

United States Championship: John Cena vs Xavier Woods

Cena mows Woods down as he rolls to the outside saying he wasn't ready. Big E then jumps on the apron. Woods gets planted by Cena who keeps Kingston at bay. The referee then sends Kingston and Big E back to the locker room as we go to our first break

-Commercial-

We're back from break and the official has reset the match after ejecting Kingston and Big E. Cena with a side slam looking for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena picks Woods up for an AA but Woods counters with a right hand and a kick to the head. Nearfall on Cena

Woods to the top rope, met by Cena who looks for an AA. Woods counters and avoids a crossbody. Woods plants Cena and gets another nearfall. Woods caught by Cena who plants him with a powerbomb and nearfall on Woods.

Cena picks Woods up, Woods with kicks and an inverted suplex by Woods. Cena plants Woods face first. AA countered once more and Woods counters going after the arm. Woods goes to the top and misses with a legdrop.

Cena with a clothesline looking for the STF and Cena has Woods in the middle of the ring as Big E and Kingston run in attacking Cena leading to the referee calling for the bell

Post Match: The Dudley Boyz run down to even things up and we have a stand off as Raw goes to commercial

Dudley Boyz & John Cena vs The New Day

We're back and we join our impromptu six man tag match in progress as The Dudleys take control keeping Kingston isolated. Bubba Ray with quick jabs and an elbow. The Dudleys with the double team and Cena tags in looking for the Five Knuckle Shuffle but Kingston tags Big E in and Big E and Cena lock up.

Big E with a side headlock.  Irish whip by Cena and Big E with a shouldert tackle. The tide quickly turns as it's The New Day isolating Cena with frequent tags. Kingston whipped into Cena's chest as Woods takes time out to play the trombone.

Kingston controlling Cena, Cena gets to his feet and Cena with a right hand. Drop toehold as Cena falls face first. Big E off the ropes hits the Big Splash on Cena.

Big E goes for a second splash but Cena rolls out of the way and it's D-Von getting the tag as he unloads with clotheslines on Kingston. Shoulder tackle to Kingston. Woods taken out . D-Von with a neckbreaker to Kingston.  Big E collides with Cena on the outside.

Kingston misses with Trouble In Paradise. Bubba Ray hits the Bubba Bomb. The Dudleys hit the What's Up. Bubba calls for the 3D but Kingston slides back into the ring and hits Trouble In Paradise for the three count

The Authority's Office: Triple H and Stephanie are talking with HR regarding Kane. Kane then walks in and introduces himself. Stephanie explains to Kane the role of HR and says there's been an anonymous complaint filed against him citing he's created an unsafe work environment

Seth Rollins walks in and calls this an outrage calling the person who did this spineless. Stephanie says HR's evaluation could determine the future of Kane's job. Rollins says this sounds like a lot of pressure and Kane says he can handle the heat and has experience in conflict management

Backstage: Dean Ambrose is talking to Roman Reigns about his match tonight and feels The Wyatt Family has something up their sleeve. Reigns says he doesn't care what they have planned. They started and he's going to end it. Ambrose says if Harper and Strowman get involved he's going to run down to the ring swinging like a bat out of hell. Orton walks in and Ambrose says they don't want any outsiders helping. Orton says they can't finish this on their own and they have tonight but after that it's open season

Mark Henry vs Big Show

Henry tried to punch Big Show into a bodyslam, but Show blocked and speared Henry to the mat. Show talked trash, then yelled at the crowd. Show followed with a bodyslam to Henry. And a second. And a third. Show dropped the strap, then clenched his fist for the KO Punch. Henry slowly got up, turned around, and took the KO Punch. Show covered Henry for the win.

Video: Paige's pipebomb from last Monday Night

MizTV

Miz is in the ring and introduces Charlotte and Becky Lynch. Miz says the world wants to know about this little catfight going on between the three members of PCB. Charlotte says Paige said some things that need to be addressed and she can either come out and they can talk this out or they're just going to throw down

Team Bella come out instead and thank Charlotte and Becky and says while they're acting like a bunch of schoolgirls, Team Bella is more united than ever and when they have their rematch Charlotte's going to be one big mess dealing with all this drama and Nikki will be diva's champion once again

Charlotte tells Nikki if she comes into the ring she'll make Nikki tap out again. Nikki says Paige is right all title reigns come to an end even hers after she beat AJ Lee's record and she says Paige didn't start the Diva's Revolution, it's Nikki who started it

Charlotte says it's not about any of them. It's about the people believing in them. Alicia Fox then says 3 is greater than 2. Team Bella drops the mic and Paige comes out  and says Charlotte and Becky wouldn't be on TV if not for her.

She says she put NXT on the map by becoming the first NXT Womens Champion and Charlotte wouldn't even be champion and Becky would still be an unknown.

Nikki tries to drive the wedge deeoer between PCB and Paige takes a dig at The Bella's success being attributed to Bryan and Cena. A brawl then breaks out

Team Bella vs Team PCB

Team Bella taking control of this impromptu six diva tag match as Brie unloads with kicks on Becky. Bulldog by Brie. Brie with a chinlock on Becky. Becky gets to her feet but Brie yanks her hair pulling her down to the ma. Nikki in off the tag with a nearfall and picking up where Brie left off with a chinlock on Becky

Becky back to her feet. Becky with a roll up. Double clothesline as both Nikki and Becky collide. Charlotte in off the tag with series of chops to Nikki. Neckbraker by Charlotte and a kick to the face. All six diva's in the ring momentarily. Charlotte going for the figure four but Nikki kicks Charlotte into Paige.

Paige walks out but Natalya comes out to take Paige's place. Paige pulls Natalya off the apron. Charlotte distracted as Nikki picks her up on her shoulders for the Rack Attack and the three count

Backstage: Rollins is talking to the woman from HR about Kane and Kane walks in and says he's been proud to be by Rollins' side every step of the way as he's risen to the top. Kane then presents Rollins with a gift and Rollins opens it and pulls out the head from his statue Rollins then says he can't keep the head and leaves

Luke Harper & Braun Strowman vs The Prime Time Players

Harper smacked Young out of the ring in the first minute. Harper tagged in Strowman, who slowly removed his black sheep mask and stalked Young on the outside. Strowman took his time punishing Young, then threw him into the barricade. Strowman finally dragged Young back into the ring before a ten count.

 Harper tagged in and lost control, allowing Young to tag in O'Neil, who powerslammed Harper. Titus tried to wake up a crowd long ago taken out of this show. He then stared down Strowman. Chaos broke out before Strowman kind of grabbed Young around the throat. O'Neil saved Young, but Harper smashed him from behind. Strowman then awkwardly entered the ring and grabbed O'Neil for his ragdoll finisher. O'Neil did not respond to the referee, who called for the bell.

Neville vs Stardust

Back and forth match with Neville controlling most of the match until Bad News Barrett made his return and delivered a Bull Hammer to both Neville and Stardust. Barrett then asked for a mic and proclaimed "All hail the return of King Barrett

Ashley from HR comes out to the ring for Kane's evaluation but before she can begin Seth Rollins walks out and shows video of who Kane really is and says even the Pope praised him last week.

Ashley begins to read the results and states after careful evalutation Kane has been found to be of sound mind and more than capable of doing his job as Director Of Operations and calls Kane kind and if anyone needs an evaluation it is Rollins who she calls rude. Rollins comes down to the ring and gets in Kane's face who just stands there and smiles

Rollins then pedigrees Kane and unloads with chair shots. Rollins then goes after the injured leg. EMTs run out and load Kane on a stretcher while Rollins etlls him he doesn't look like no demon. He looks very human.

Kane is then stretchered to the back and loaded into the ambulance. moments later the doors open and the Devil's Favourite Demon exits and makes his way to the ring where he chokeslams Rollins. Kane then goes for the Tombstone but Rollins slides out of the ring retreating to the back as Kanee stands in the ring with WWE Title in hand as the pyros go off

Randy Oeron vs Bo Dallas

Orton and Dallas lock up. Right hand by Dallas blocked by Orton and Dallas slides to the outside.  Uppercuts by Orton and Dallas driven into the barricades. Dallas dropped on the barricade. Dallas back in the ring catches Orton with a knee

Orton connects with the backbreaker and then delivers the DDT. Orton delivers the RKO for the three count

Kevin Owens vs Rusev (w/Summer Rae)

Rusev and Owens traded blows mid-ring right as the bell sounded. Rusev then tossed Owens out of the ring with an overhead slam. On the floor, Owens chucked Rusev into Ryback, setting off a wild brawl as the bell sounded. Suddenly, Owens and Rusev worked together to shove Ryback into the ring steps.

Back in the ring, Owens and Rusev pounded on Ryback. Suddenly, Dolph Ziggler's music played. Ziggler ran down to the ring and cleared Rusev, then Owens, who grabbed his title belt and took a walk. Ziggler checked on Ryback as the heels retreated up the entrance ramp to the back. The focus was on Owens-Ryback ahead of their IC Title re-match.

The winner of the match: None

Paul Heyman is in the ring and says this Saturday hell will descend into Madison Square Gardens when Brock Lesnar digs his claws into The Big Show and likens Show to a 6th grade math student who gets a C because he's bored with the curriculum. He says no one can push Show to his limits

But this Saturday night, Show will be pushed to his limit and when he is then he'll be motivated and inspired. This Saturday night, Lesnar will take Big Show to Suplex City.

Big Show comes out and says he's not going to come out here and hurt Heyman but Heyman is right he is motivated and pushes Lesnar to his limit everytime he steps into the ring with Lesnar

He says he knows Lesnar's afraid of Show and asks why Heyman didn't finish promoting the Go To Hell Tour and this Saturday night it's going to be Eat! Sleep! Beat Brock Lesnar! Repeat!. Heyman leaves the ring and Show tells Heyman he wants him to think about his future without Brock Lesnar

Bray Wyatt vs Roman Reigns

Reigns and Bray traded blows in the middle of the ring, then Bray fell to the outside. Reigns landed his double-foot kick on the apron, then talked trash as Raw headed to break.

-Commercial-

Back from break, Bray was in control of the action. Bray taunted Reigns by saying he thought Reigns wanted to fight. "So, fight me!" Bray shouted at Reigns. Bray slowed the pace with a long headlock, but airballed a corner attack to lose control. Reigns came back with body blows into a suplex for a two count. Reigns grimaced and sold mid-section pain before hitting ten clotheslines in the corner.

Reigns cocked his fist for the Superman Punch, but Bray blocked and nailed a hard knock down clothesline. Bray covered and Reigns barely rolled his shoulder to escape a three count. There was a commotion in the crowd heading to the top of the hour.

Bray tried to get the crowd to re-focus as he teased a top-rope superplex, but Reigns slipped underneath Bray and executed a powerbomb for a two count. Reigns tried to follow with a spear, but Bray avoided. He did not avoid the Superman Punch, but Wyatt managed to roll out of the ring. On the floor, Bray side-stepped Reigns, who crashed into the ring steps. They continued fighting at ringside while the ref reached an eight count. Reigns could have rolled Bray back into the ring to go for a win, but he opted to ignore the ref, who reached a nine, then ten count.

The winner of the match: Double Count Out

Post Match:  Reigns and Bray fought into the crowd. They reached the production area and Bray chucked a dude into Reigns. Bray then clotheslined Reigns through the gimmicked barricade back down to ringside. Both men sold on the floor, then Bray got up and laughed in Reigns's face. Bray climbed on top of the announce table and posed for the crowd.

Suddenly, Reigns sprung to his feet and jumped onto Bray with a spear through the table. Both men sold unconsciousness on the floor as WWE waited for the crowd to make significant noise to get over the ending. Raw signed off seven minutes past the top of the hour.
