It appears as though WWE may be looking to start utilizing 3D technology soon, as the company's corporate website has posted the following job listing for a "Ross Expression Operator":
"WWE is looking to fulfill a long-term temporary/freelance position working in Ross Expression. The main objective will be operating graphics within a 3D virtual set for a variety of different shows, and this is a new and exciting path for WWE as well as the broadcast field."
It's also worth noting that WWE was looking to do a WrestleMania 3D experience several years ago, but the opportunity never took place. In addition, the company also conducted a survey with fans, asking them if they wanted to see various WWE matches broadcast in 3D. According to reports conducted in 2011, WWE wanted to try to do a 3D special that year involving SmackDown, but that never happened either.
