WWE Pulls Main Event From the WWE Network Due To Contractual Obligations To Sky Sports

WWE Main Event has been pulled from the WWE Network next week and replaced by "Santino Marella’s Royal Rumble Lottery Special" which will air five days prior to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in an announcement made by the company tonight. The reason WWE pulled the show is because of a contractual obligation to Sky Sports in the United Kingdom according to PWInsider.com.

This week the company launched the WWE Network in the UK and Ireland and has no way of blocking content in certain countries and with Main Event exclusive to Sky Sports in the U.K the decision was made to pull it until further notice.
