The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE may be rushing the babyface turn of Randy Orton because the live events which Orton has been booked on draw poorly with him as heel and Dean Ambrose as the top face.
WWE officials may also have taken note of the recent RKO vine craze and are trying to capitalize by turning him and striking while the iron is hot. Whatever the reasons the turn was indeed accelerated after Roman Reigns was ruled out due to injury.
Turning Orton face doesn't come without some concern as their top heels will be lacking, with Rollins taking the top spot on Raw and Kane on SmackDown, unless there are plans to turn at least two of Wyatts heel when they return in singles competition.Â
