Update On Vince McMahon's Future As A Television Character

It was heavily rumored late last year and even early this year that WWE Chairman Mr. Vince McMahon would make his return to television as a character in time for WrestleMania 30. Obviously this did not turn out to be the case.

It's now being reported that the Mr. McMahon character might be more or less retired and his spot as the "evil owner" will be taken by Triple H and/or Stephanie McMahon moving forward. Stephanie will actually play more of the owner type of role, essentially taking Vince's spot as the evil owner while Triple H will continue to be an executive and part-time wrestler.

While Vince McMahon may never completely disappear from WWE programming and will continue to make rare appearances, his role as the evil owner on television is considered to be finished, at least as of right now.
