It is Friday Night Smackdown and another step closer to WrestleMania 30. Highlights of this previous Monday Night Raw with Daniel Bryan's continuous fight with The Authority. The Animal starts things out on Smackdown and to his usual chorus of boo's. Batista comes out with the mic and says last week he asked “Where have all the men gone? And what I got was, Dolph Ziggler”. He also says that he destroyed Daniel Bryan, very easily. Out comes Daniel Bryan and questions Batista's thoughts of himself being the hero. “You know what's wrong with this business? They let fans in the locker room” as Batista “politely” put it towards Daniel Bryan. DB jogs Batista's memory back pointing out Batista did lay him out but not without some interference.  

Batista goes on another tirade saying it was out of the goodness of his heart that Daniel Bryan is allowed to exist in his universe. Batista gets a little frustrated with DB's retort and goes after Bryan but not without DB getting the better of The Animal. Kane's entrance plays and the distraction allows Batista to get Daniel Bryan from behind and Kane and Batista go on attacking DB but Big Show makes a return and helps even things out. Vickie Guerrero comes out and announces a tag team man event with Kane and Batista facing The Big Show and Daniel Bryan. Later tonight, The Shield Summit.

Back to Smackdown and Christian is in the ring and the footage of Christian assaulting Sheamus from this past Raw is shown. Christian's opponent tonight is the showoff, Dolph Ziggler. Quick shoulder tackle by Ziggler and a flying clothesline by Ziggler keeps the excitement going. Slap by Christian, which only upsets Dolph Ziggler and gets Captain Charisma to the ground and does his signature 10 elbows. 1-2, but not a 3 as Christian gets the kickout. The action spills to the outside and Christian does a slingshot to Dolph, landing him to the steel steps. Christian is in control and we go to break.

Back to the action and Christian is still in control stomping away at the former world champion. Dolph gets to a vertical base and gets a jawbreaker on Christian. Dolph goes behind Christian only to get an elbow and Christian goes off the second rope only to have DZ go for an outstanding dropkick counter. Dolph has the momentum swinging his way, neckbreaker and a nearfall. Christian going for the Killswitch but Dolph reverses it to a high DDT and gets a 2 count. Christian tried to go for a cover with both feet on the ropes but the ref saw it. Dolph now goes for a faceplant on the top and gets another 2 count. Alberto Del Rio distracts Dolph from the announce table and Christian is able to get the Killswitch and the 1-2-3.

Winner; Christian

Renee Young now asks Christian asks why he has directed all of his anger towards Sheamus and just before he can complete his answer, Sheamus comes out and barely misses the Brogue Kick and runs out of the ring with a very upset Sheamus standing in the ring.

WWE Rewind with The Usos grabbing the tag team gold. Rybaxel is already in the ring while the newly crowned tag team champions come down. Ryback is quickly tagged and is getting outmaneuvered by both Usos. Ryback gets a knee to the midsection and a blind tag by Curtis Axel and pulls the rope down and Axel is in control and goes for a quick cover after a knee to the head. Ryback is tagged in again and works on the left arm of one of the Usos and Ryback quickly haults momentum but misses on a second rope splash and Jey Uso is tagged in. Full nelson drop and Samoan drop by Jey and Curtis Axel breaks up the cover. Ryback tries to throw one of the Usos but finds himself the recipient of a double kick and eventually the finishing touch with the splash and the 1-2-3.

The Raw Rebound with Paul Heyman saying there is only one man that can conquer the streak and that is Brock Lesnar. Also, the footage of Mark Henry being F5'd onto the announce table. The Undertaker, this Monday, address Brock Lesnar's take on conquering the streak. Smackdown announces the newest member of the Hall of Fame after break.

Divas match with Natalya and Eva Marie and Tamina and AJ Lee. Eva Marie and Tamina start the match with Eva Marie getting some of the better of Tamina but a distraction by AJ Lee has Eva take her eyes off and Tamina gets Eva Marie from behind. AJ Lee is tagged in but quickly tags in Tamina and now AJ Lee is tagged in once again with a kick to the midsection. Eva Marie is trying to get up from the rest hold and eventually gets the veteran Natalya and two snap suplexes by Natalya and plants AJ but Tamina saves the match and Natalya gets a spinning clothesline on Tamina, misses AJ and she goes for The Black Widow but Natalya counters AJ and puts on the Sharpshooter and the team of Eva Marie and Natalya win.

The newest inductee into the HOF is Paul Bearer (so far, all good inductees into the HOF and to be honest, Undertaker should induct the late, great Paul Bearer). 2 members of The Shield make their way down for The Shield Summit but where is Seth Rollins? To be answered after break.

So far, only Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns are in the ring and the conflicted Seth Rollins is yet to be seen. Dean Ambrose says he can handle being beat, he can handle physical pain but the one thing he cannot handle is being lied to as he thought The Shield had each other's backs. The Shield music plays again and out comes Seth Rollins. Seth Rollins says that perhaps the match against The Wyatts wasn't the most opportune time to prove a point but he says the war isn't with The Wyatts but within themselves. Dean Ambrose was quick to argue but Seth Rollins says that his strategy worked with Ambrose and Reigns are standing in the ring together and seeing eye to eye. Rollins says each can go their own separate ways and each would do well but they do better as a unit. Ambrose retaliates by getting in shoving match with Seth Rollins. “Are we done here, or are we done..” Rollins asks. It seems for now The Shield stand united. Up next, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio.

We are back to Detroit and back to Smackdown as Sheamus comes down with Del Rio already in the ring. Quick tie-up and both men exchanging blows and Sheamus send ADR over the top with a clothesline and does a rolling senton to ADR while on the outside of the ring. Sheamus sends Del Rio into the barricade and throws Alberto Del Rio at the count of 7. Del Rio rolls outside and Sheamus follows but Del Rio suckers him in and throws him into the steel steps and does more damage to the injured arm before we go to break.

We are back and we see an enzuguri kick to the bad arm and 2 count by Del Rio on the Celtic Warrior. Sheamus fights back and Del Rio misses Sheamus and Sheamus connects with a clothesline to Del Rio on the ring apron. Some Irish hammers by Sheamus and is soon followed by a tilt a whirl slam and a 2 count. Del Rio gets up and hits the left arm some more but has Del Rio hung out but before he can get the full 10 blows, Del Rio gets the arm on the rope and kicks Shamus square in the head and a close 3 count. Alberto is signaling for the cross arm breaker but Sheamus continues to fight back and gets a 2 count on the Mexican aristocrat after an Irish Curse backbreaker. Alberto Del Rio gets his armbreaker on but Sheamus powers out of the the armbreaker but Sheamus is caught yet again and Sheamus barely escapes getting his legs on the bottom rope. Sheamus is in the corner while ADR tries to get the arm but while Del Rio argues briefly with the ref, Sheamus comes out of nowhere with a Brogue Kick and the win.

An out of nowhere promo by The Wyatts to John Cena claiming that Cena needs to fill an empty void. He doesn't want to save John Cena but stand back as everything burns down. Quick interview by Batista saying after this, maybe he can actually focus on other things and that is to beat Randy Orton and be WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Back to Smackdown and the WWE's own panelists give their intake of tonight with Alex Riley getting a mixed reaction but gets the YES chant going by saying the main reason we are here is for the tag team main event. Please rise for the super athlete and Alexander Rusov does another in-person promo. Interview with Daniel Bryan and Big Show and asked about Batista's comments about not being a real man hiding behind the Big Show and comments that Trips must not be a real man hiding behind The Shield, Orton, Batista and even his wife's skirt. Up next, the tag team main event.

Batista and Corporate Kane are in the ring as we return and Big Show makes his entrance and last and certainly not least, Daniel Bryan makes his popular entrance. DB and Kane start the match with Kane getting the quick upper hand but not for long as Bryan gets a Lou Thesz press and a tag is made to Big Show who fires a couple body shots followed by a big slap to the chest. Big Show with a splash and runs the ropes and gets dropkicked to the leg. Batista is tagged in and both try to suplex the Big Show but counters and DB is tagged in and does a suicide dive to both Kane and The Animal.

Back to the action and Big Show is in control of The Animal and Daniel Bryan is tagged and delivers a few kicks to Batista and follows up with a running clothesline and some more kicks to a kneeling Batista and misses the last kick and Batista delivers a spinebuster. A tag to Kane is made and gets some unrelenting hits on Bryan. Kane attempts a superplex and DB gets outs and delivers a missile dropkick. Both men are down but Batista is the one that gets tagged and gets a wicked clothesline and follows up with an Irish whip to the turnbuckle. Daniel Bryan fights back but gets a spear on Daniel Bryan and is signaling for the Batista Bomb. Daniel Bryan gets out and follows it with a kick to the head and gets the tag to the fresh Big Show and is a house of fire on Kane. Daniel Bryan gets back in delivers a flying headbutt but Batista breaks the count. Big Show takes care of Batista outside the ring. Chokeslam attempt by Kane as DB tries a sunset flip and as Kane gets to the ropes, Big Show gets the KO punch, Daniel Bryan covers Kane and Daniel Bryan and Big Show pick up the win in Detroit.
