TNA Impact

Good evening everyone and TNA opens up with Bobby Roode and the newly crowned (and once again) tag team champs, The Bromans. In 3 days, TNA will be ran the “Roode” way and the only problem he has is MVP. Austin Aries comes out and tells Roode that without his help that, Roode wouldn't have won the match last week. AA also states he did what he did for his best interests. AA wants half of Bobby Roode's share of the company. Now come to think of it, everyone else does too as The Bromans want their share also but Roode was quick to point out that he came to them and that he is the captain.

MVP and The Wolves come down and has made his decision for his final partner is.......well, it's not Dixie Carter and she enters the ring to give her voice. She says that she will stop at nothing to keep control over it and it doesn't matter who it is. MVP announces his last partner is........Jeff Hardy. Dixie Carter says he is under TNA contract and when he walked out, he will stay out and she is not changing her decision. Still, MVP says Hardy is coming. Roode also said it doesn't matter as he said to MVP that he is the future 10% owner of the company. Both sides start going at it and now we have our break.

(break)

We are back from break to the six man elimination match (essentially a Survivor Series-esque type match). AA goes for a quick cover on one of the Wolves and tags in Robbie but gets MVP as he is tagged in and gets the first elimination with his drive-by kick. Bobby comes in and quickly goes on the attack but MVP is able to get to his own and tags in Eddie Edwards but Roode gets the advantage after being the victim of some double team moves. Austin Aries is in and eliminates Edwards with the brainbuster. Now the other member of The Wolves is in and both Richards and AA are exchanging blows and now it's captain versus captain as both members are tagged in. Both go at each other but MVP gets a European uppercut, a clothesline but Austin Aries breaks up a count. Roode goes for the cover and AA keeps Roode's foot on the top rope and now Richards is against Roode and Aries. Aries is in firm control of Davey Richards with a forearm and now a tag and Roode is tagged in and distracts the ref while AA goes for a top rope double axe handle on the outside. Aries is tagged in as Davey Richards is the recipient of some double team action but Richards gets some momentum and gets a running knee to Roode in the corner, Roode Bomb, gets out and now Richards goes for a half-crab and AA gets himself DQ'd by using a chair and does repeated shots to Richards and now there is a question looming if the match can continue but we won't know until we return....

(break)

We are back and Davey Richards is getting medical help and they have 1 hour to get themselves back together and finish the match. Hmmmmm.........

Footage of the event's transpiring between Sam Shaw and Christy Hemme and his opponent for Lockdown, Ken Anderson. Creepy Shaw tells the passion Hemme showed last week was beautiful and in 1 minute, he will show something more beautiful when he gets in the ring.

(break)

Back again for a one on one match as Shaw makes his way and Mr Anderson makes an appearance but is not his scheduled opponent tonight. He says that Christy Hemme will not be making an appearance but to take his place will be Mr. Anderson. He introduces Shaw as “Creepy Bastard” and hailing from Nashville, TN and his beard alone weights 2 stones, EY Eric Young. Eric Young goes for a quick cover as Shaw is already distracted by Anderson but gets a 2 count. Eric gets a 10 punch on Shaw in the corner and Shaw looks like T-1000 the way he is adjusting his jaw with a creepy grin here and there. A quick thrust to the throat and Shaw is distracted yet again, and EY gets some leverage yet again, but Shaw gets himself DQ'd by going outside and throws the hot tea to Eric Young's face and applies his standing choke on Mr. Anderson. And Shaw gloats over an unconscious Mr. Anderson and tells him that he is going to reclaim what is rightfully his, and a terrified Christy Hemme is shown backstage.

(break)

MVP is shown backstage and is looking for Aries and finds him in a locker room and tells him he has no character. Footage of EC3 and Kurt Angle and their eventual match at Lockdown.

EC3 keeps asking Dixie if she is okay and assures EC3 that she has invested 12 years into this company and will not let MVP take it away. “Christy, where are you?” Before we go to another break, Sam Shaw is shown looking for (or stalking) Christy Hemme.

(break)

Later tonight, Magnus and Samoa Joe go face to face. Shaw is still looking for Christy and runs into a scantily clothed (a little more than usual) Velvet Sky. He asks where Christy is twice before she says Christy is in the makeup room. EC3 comes out and is ticked off that last week that Angle sucker punched him. Further more, EC3 goes on a rant and says Angle has his Angle-lock, which he admitted is devastating but he has a leg lock which will tear every ligament in Kurt Angle's leg. Newest HOF member Kurt Angle comes out and says questions EC3's remark on being an American icon and tells him he's an American a**hole. Kurt Angle doesn't want to wait 3 days but EC3 leaves the ring and I guess we will have to wait for their match at Lockdown. Just as soon as I say something, EC3 attacks Angle on the ramp and clips Angle's knee from behind. EC3 throws him into the ring and dropkicks the knee and continuously goes for his leg lock.

MVP is shown backstage and is encouraging Davey Richards to be able to finish off tonight. Up next, 6 knockout tag team action.

(break)

Coming soon, Kenny King. Out now, Lei'd Tapa, Gail Kim and The Alpha Female (w/ Chris Sabin). And their opponents, Velvet Sky, ODB, and Madison Rayne. Madison Rayne and Gail Kim start things off with Rayne getting the early advantage but walks into the opposition's corner and gets her hair pulled and a dropkick by Gail Kim. Uh oh, ODB enters the fray and gets the advantage on Gail Kim. Gail Kim gets a move on ODB and Lei'd Tapa is tagged in and lifts ODB up with ease on her shoulders and gives a backbreaker. Corner clothesline Tapa ODB musters up some momentum and The Alpha Female is tagged and so is Velvet Sky and gives a few clotheslines but has no effect on the bigger Alpha Female. The ring is cleared and Chris Sabin corners Sky and calls her a skank and charges his former girlfriend and is thrown over the top. The Alpha Female comes back in and Velvet Sky backs up and puts Sky in a full nelson position but Velvet Sky drops herself, kicks The Alpha Female and delivers her finisher for the 1-2-3.

Winners; Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, ODB

Creepy Shaw is shown backstage still looking for Christy Hemme and before break, someone directs Shaw to where the makeup room is.

(break)

Another creepy promo by Willow. Here we are and Shaw finds the makeup room but only finds Mr. Anderson and beats him a little bit and covers his face with some lipstick and leaves him lying on the floor and laughs a little bit and Shaw says he will see them both Sunday. More highlights but this time it's the culmination of events of James Storm and Gunner their eventual match. Gunner comes down to the ring and tells how things have changed between him and James Storm after winning the briefcase. At Lockdown, Gunner goes on how he is a different man, some PTSD and just before he goes further on, Storm comes out. Storm comes out and tells Gunner that he takes his “no leave no man behind” and military mentality a little seriously and how he will be making excuses why he wasn't world champion because of James Storm. Gunner goes a step further and issues and Last Man Standing match and see how Gunner is a religious man, he should pray to God before Storm cuts him down. A cheap shot by Storm and his super kick to Gunner before the segment ends.

Roode is now impatient and is looking for a decision and before we cut to break, we see Davey Richards' shoulder being taped up.

(break)

Now to the main event. Bobby Roode has said it has been 1 hour and tells the ref to count to 10 and tell that his team is the victor heading into Lockdown but Davey Richards comes out to finish the match. Bobby Roode goes immediately to the shoulder of Richards swings his left shoulder around the steel post. Roode is continuing to work on the injured shoulder and brings the arm over the top rope and yells at Richards to quit while Roode is taking is time. A diving knee on the arm misses its mark and Richards catches Roode with a boot and tries to go to top but his shoulder gives way. Richards is showing some momentum, fighting with his good arm and working and goes for the suicide dive, which connects on Bobby Roode. Davey Richards goes for the missile dropkick, 1-2, almost a 3 but not quite. Davey Richards connects on a couple of kicks but on the 3rd, Roode catches the injured Wolf in the Roode Bomb but Richards escapes and gets a very close pinfall with the sunset flip. Roode Bomb after a missed shoulder tackle and Roode goes for the submission win, working the shoulder and MVP and Eddie Edwards come out after he wouldn't release his armbar.

Winners; Bobby Roode, Robbie, Austin Aries

(break)

For our final part of Impact, we have our face to face between Samoa Joe and TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Magnus. Magnus comes out after Samoa Joe questions his courage to come out and face him to what he has to say. Magnus tells Samoa Joe that he should know better to question his manhood and that he knows him better than anyone else, after they won championships in Japan and in TNA. Magnus also says he has a healthy fear of Samoa Joe. But it is his rage that has allowed SJ to blow his chance when he was on top of the mountain. And it is his rage that will cost Samoa Joe the match at Lockdown. Samoa Joe tells Magnus everything he said was correct and his rage is not conducive for pro wrestling but at Lockdown, it's under “Joe Rules” and tells him he won't be able to walk out at all. Magnus gets the first strike and few more but Joe turns the tables and Magnus is tapping to the rear naked choke as we go off the air.
