Smackdown 2/28 *Live Coverage*

[Refresh every 5 minutes for live coverage]

In memory of Nelson Frazier Jr.

Welcome to the last Smackdown of February and the show starts out with the number one contender for the world title, Batista. Word is that Batista will tell the WWE fans what he thinks of them. Footage from Raw where a distraction by Orton cost Batista a match to ADR. Batista starts out by saying that he loves this business, this company and did not come back to be liked or to please every fan but came back to be WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Fact #1, he can destroy anyone put in front in him (at least according to him. Fact #2, he represents the company better than Hogan and the Rock. Batista questions where the attitude of the company is and questions the fans for supporting a lightweight (aka Daniel Bryan). Batista going into heel mode and says that he will systematically destroying everyone of the fan's heroes on his way to the title at WrestleMania 30.

Dolph Ziggler makes an appearance and tells Batista not to tell them who they should cheer for and also tells him that he's a dinosaur and sooner or later, dinosaurs become extinct. Zigs also wants a match with Batista tonight and just as Batista accepts, Zigs delivers a dropkick and exits the ring. Up next, the World's Strongest Tag Team (Henry and Big E) face the Real Americans.

(break)

Both teams are in the ring as we return and highlights are shown of Swagger costing Cesaro his match from Raw. Big E and Swagger start the match and Big E with an over the back suplex and some running splashes in the corner and Henry is now tagged in. Swagger runs towards Henry after getting a boot up but runs into a bodyslam. Tag to Big E and we get Big E's signature triple backbreakers. Cesar is now tagged but Cesaro seems to be having better luck and the fans immediately cheer for his entrance. Out of the ring superplex and a blind tag by Swagger and delivers a Swagger Bomb to the IC champ but Cesaro gets tagged in and has Big E on the ground but not for long and a backbody drop by Big E and tags his larger tag team partner but Swagger is also tagged in. And Henry does a running powerslam to Swagger and as Mark Henry picks up Swagger, Cesaro knocks Henry off balance , Swagger with the dropkick to the knee and The Patriot Lock and Cesaro makes the blind tag and soon enough, Cesaro shows his strength by using The Neautralizer to the much bigger Mark Henry.

Winner; The Real Americans.

Backstage, ADR comes to say to Vickie Guerrero that he didn't congratulate him on beating Batista on Monday. Sheamus comes in and tells Vickie that he can face ADR for old time's sake and mocks Del Rio by saying his hair was very lovely, using the same tone ADR used for Vickie a moment ago.

(break)

As Alberto Del Rio suggested a night off, his match his now with The Celtic Warrior. ADR goes after the injured ribs right off the bat but Sheamus catches Del Rio after a couple moments and pushes ADR out of the ring and brings the fight to ADR outside the ring. Sheamus brings Del Rio back into the ring and Sheamus tries to go for his clubbing blows but ADR counters with a stunner on the rope. Del Rio dropkicks Sheamus to the outside while Christian comes out and we go to break.

(break)

We are back to the action and Alberto Del Rio is in control and Christian is ringside at commentary. Alberto Del Rio goes to the top rope and Sheamus gets ADR on his shoulders and a reverse electric chair drop. Sheamus gets some momentum and gets a 2 count, goes for the Brogue Kick but ADR catches him with a Backstabber. Side kick by Del Rio but misses and Sheamus capitalizes on it with the the 10 clubbing blows but ADR slips out of Sheamus' grasp, kicks the injured ribs and connects on his side kick, 1-2 but no 3 count. ADR goes for the running enzuguri and misses and puts Del Rio in the Cloverleaf but before ADR would probably submit, Christian causes a DQ. Christian is thrown out and ADR goes after Sheamus and goes for his patented armbar but Sheamus connects on his Brogue Kick. Christian gets back and gets the Killswitch on before leaving.

Winner; Sheamus

More highlights from Raw with Daniel Bryan calling out Triple H but is in tonights 6 man tag with The Usos with him against Corporate Kane and The Outlaws.

(break)

More Raw highlights but this time with the return of Hulk Hogan. Some more footage but this time with Hogan on the Today show. Alexander Rusov makes an appearance, in person, on Smackdown and to be honest, I am looking forward to his actual in ring debut be it via Smackdown or Raw after seeing him on NXT.

Some more Raw footage but this time it was Reigns for Wyatt and the questions of Dean Ambrose's whereabouts and now thunder in paradise in The Shield as they argue. The “architect” of The Shield Seth Rollins brings unity to The Hounds of Justice for a match later tonight with The Wyatts. Dolph Ziggler comes to the ring with his match with Batista, which is next after break.

(break)

Back from break and Batista is showered with boo's (if fans are going to not like you, you mind as well actually give them a reason).Zigs starts out a house of fire and Batista immediately leaves the ring for a quick break. Batista comes back in and tries to clothesline Ziggler but Dolph fires back with more punch and dropkick. Batista goes outside, only to sucker Ziggler outside and throws him into the barricade and makes Ziggler go spine first into the ring apron. Batista goes after Dolph's left leg and uses the steel post like another tag team partner. The action goes back into the ring where Batista is dominating Ziggler and still working on the left knee. A couple of shoulders into Ziggler but Ziggler gets out and Batista charges again and goes shoulder first into the post. Dolph has some momentum and flies towards The Animal and connects with a flurry of punches. A dropkick to the knee by Ziggler gets Batista down and connects on a Fameasser but only musters a 2 count. Dolph Ziggler tries a sleeper but The Animal shakes it off and a running Ziggler is greeted with a spinebuster. 2 more spinebusters to Dolph Ziggler and now finishes the match with a Batista Bomb.

Winner; Batista

John Cena's injury shown from The Wyatt attack from this past Monday and up next is The Wyatt's message to John Cena.

(break)

“Milwaukee, we're here”. It's none other than The Wyatt Family making their way down to the ring with their message John Cena. It's usually a challenge to summarize exactly what Bray Wyatt is saying but I will give it a go. According to Bray Wyatt, everything the people know is based on lies. And no one is bigger than hiding behind a plastic smile than John Cena and the reason why the fans do not like him is because he tells them truths and just as Bray Wyatt was ending his talk, The Shield enter the fray. I made a mistake as I said a match was between the 2 stables but it was more unfinished business than anything else. Enter Triple H as the standoff is at a standstill. Triple H tells them he has too much time and money invested in all 6 of them and if they are going to have a match, it will have to have a promotion with a match on Raw. Bray Wyatt instigates The Shield by saying “Go on, listen to your daddy”. Rollins and Ambrose fly at Luke and Rowand while the patriarch of The Wyatts stands alone with all 3 members but nothing more happens and we are left with the tension of unfinished business. Up next, the rematch for the Divas title....after break.

(break)

AJ Lee is already in the ring while Cameron comes out for her rematch for the Divas title. AJ wastes little time going after Cameron and gets a clothesline on Cameron, covers her up but only a one count. Cameron counters and gets a bulldog on AJ Lee and Cameron is screaming like she is part Xena, Warrior Princess. Tamina pushes AJ out of the way as Cameron was charging but gets told to go the back by the official. AJ manages to get a couple more moves and makes Cameron submit in a very short (shorter than usual) divas match.

Winner; AJ Lee

(break)

Now the Raw Rebound with Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker. I am digging the “In Time” song theme for the highlights. This Monday, Brock Lesnar responds to The Undertaker.

Up now, our main event 6 man tag match. The Usos and Daniel Bryan enter the ring first and we will wait to see Kane and The Outlaws when Smackdown returns.

(break)

We are back and Billy Gunn starts the match out against Daniel Bryan despite Daniel Bryan trying to get Kane to start the match. Daniel Bryan gets firm control at the start of the match and tags Jey Uso but Billy Gunn gets him into his corner and Kane is now the legal man. Some uppercuts and Road Dogg is tagged in and delivers a few punches and Jey counters a couple moves and tags his brother. A 2 count on the 6 time tag team champion and Road Dogg recuperates with his other tag partners and we go to break.

(break)

Back to the main event and Jimmy Uso is in control of Billy Gunn until Billy Gunn counters with a tilt a whirl slam. Now Kane is in, gets a corner clothesline and follows up with a cover but only a 2 count. Road Dogg is tagged back in and continues to work on the midsection of Jimmy Uso. Another tag to Corporate Kane and follows up with a cover after a sidewalk slam but gets another 2 count. Jawbreaker by Jimmy Uso but Kane manages to get a cheap shot on DB before he tags Road Dogg back in. Road Dogg gets a shot on Jey Uso after working on Jimmy Uso and no one is on the ring apron for Jimmy Uso but Daniel Bryan gets to the apron and is a house of fire on the now tagged Billy Gunn. Buzzsaw kicks to the Billy Gunn and Road Dogg interrupts the final kick but gets thrown out. Billy Gunn gets dropkicked out of the ring and mayhem ensues with the match. Fameasser by Billy Gunn but gets a 2 count. Daniel Bryan gets up and sets up for his running knee, connects and The Usos and Daniel Bryan are triumphant on the final Smackdown of February.

Winners; Daniel Bryan and The Usos.
