On Monday night's edition of WWE RAW, both Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman made their returns to WWE as has been reported that they would.
Following their introductions by Triple H, Heyman took to the microphone and announced that Lesnar was back in the company to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and that whoever won between Randy Orton and John Cena at the Royal Rumble would have to face Lesnar, who Heyman said was the "self-appointed number-one contender."
Following their segment, Mark Henry came to the ring to confront Lesnar, but was attacked as he entered the ring. Lesnar threw Henry over the ringside fan barrier before ultimately putting him through it, taking out a section of the barrier. Lesnar then hit the F5 on Henry outside the ring.
As previously reported, at last night's SmackDown taping, Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston made mention of an attack by Lesnar on Henry, which ultimately spoiled the segment for tonight before it actually happened.
