"Riddick", Starring Batista (Oh & Vin Diesel!) Makes #1 At US Box Office

"Riddick", starring Vin Diesel and former WWE star Dave Bautista, has made the US #1 box office raking in an estimated $18.7 million dollars in it's opening weekend.

Riddick actually helped build revenue for the weekend after Labor Day 24% from last year. Filmgoers and experts alike will know that this is typically a "hard sell" weekend but Riddick's impressive numbers have pleased Universal.

Riddick will continue to open up in International Markets, including here in the UK, this weekend.
