WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is reportedly heading to a new venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, following confirmation that the upcoming premium live event would be moved from its originally advertised location.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the November 7 event is now expected to take place at the Kingdom Arena, a 30,000-capacity indoor venue that has previously hosted several major WWE shows.
The arena is already familiar to wrestling fans, having staged WWE Night of Champions in June, making it an established location for the company's Saudi Arabian events.
Crown Jewel had originally been scheduled for Riyadh Season Stadium, but organisers announced on Wednesday that the event would be relocated. The reason behind the decision remains unclear, and WWE has yet to officially confirm the Kingdom Arena as the replacement venue.
The announcement also confirmed that existing ticket holders would receive full refunds, with tickets for the relocated event expected to be made available within 48 hours.
The venue change comes amid growing attention surrounding WWE's continued commitment to holding events in Saudi Arabia, particularly following travel warnings issued to American citizens due to ongoing regional tensions.
Recent security concerns, including attacks on major airports by Iran-backed Houthi rebels, have raised questions about the safety and logistics of staging major international sporting events in the country.
Despite those concerns, TKO executives have maintained that their scheduled events will go ahead as planned.
TKO CEO Ari Emanuel and UFC President Dana White have both publicly expressed their commitment to honouring existing agreements with Saudi Arabia and prominent Saudi entertainment figure Turki Al-Sheikh.
WWE's relationship with Saudi Arabia remains one of its most significant international partnerships, with the company reportedly earning approximately $50 million for each event held under the agreement.
That partnership is also set to reach another major milestone in April 2027, when Saudi Arabia is scheduled to host WrestleMania for the first time.
Meanwhile, Crown Jewel is expected to feature several high-profile matches, including a major showdown between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.
Although the venue switch has created some uncertainty for ticket holders, the event itself remains scheduled for Saturday, November 7, with Riyadh continuing as the host city.
As of right now, the Crown Jewel show is being moved to the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, the same place Saturday's Canelo fight is taking place. So still in the city. Was also emphasized to me that is "that of this hour."
