The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has provided an update following the death of AEW star PAC, confirming to TMZ that an autopsy was performed on Monday. His cause and manner of death remain pending additional testing, which could take several weeks.

PAC, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, was reportedly found unresponsive inside a car outside a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois, on Sunday afternoon. He was 40.

According to dispatch audio obtained by the California Post, emergency services were called to the restaurant’s car park at around 4 PM. First responders were told there was a “slumper” inside a vehicle, with the caller unable to confirm whether he was breathing.

A witness told the outlet that customers called 911 after noticing him unresponsive in the car. Some reportedly searched the restaurant for medical equipment while waiting for paramedics to arrive.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Satterley was pronounced dead at 4:08 PM.

His death came less than a day after he competed against Andrade El Idolo at AEW All Out in Chicago. PAC also appeared during the main event later that evening.

AEW announced his passing on Sunday night, paying tribute to the British wrestler and the remarkable athleticism and in-ring ability that made him a favourite among fans.
